Meet the Edgehill Residents Celebrating 70 Years of Love

Charles and Beverly Levine, Edgehill residents, recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. The couple, now 95 and 93 years old respectively, met in Brooklyn during the summer of 1953 thanks to a mutual introduction by their relatives.

Although Beverly initially did not envision herself marrying Charles, a fortuitous $50 bill he found on their first date helped sway her decision. Six months later, they tied the knot and have been together ever since, raising three sons, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

According to the couple, their lasting marriage can be attributed to their compatibility, willingness to compromise and understanding each other’s needs. The Levines have resided at Edgehill for the past 4.5 years. Congratulations to Charles and Beverly on reaching such an incredible milestone!
