Edgehill Assistant Director of Food and Beverage Matthew “Matt” Belden assists in the daily operations of dining services throughout the community. He is most excited about connecting with and providing exceptional experiences for residents, families and associates of the Edgehill community.

Matt has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and food service industry.

Career Journey

He has worked in the public, private and healthcare hospitality industries. He chose his career because he loves meeting and engaging with people who have diverse backgrounds and unique stories to tell.

Passion for Senior Care

Matt’s passion for senior care shines through in his favorite aspect of the job: meeting with residents, engaging in conversations and listening to their fascinating life stories.

Milestones

He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, with degrees in food and beverage management and restaurant management.

Personal Interests

When he is not at work, Matt enjoys an active life with his wife, two daughters and two dogs in Shelton, CT. He is an avid soccer dad who loves a good cup of coffee and spending time on the golf course.
