Matt Belden comes to Edgehill with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and food service industry. He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a degree in food and beverage management and restaurant management and has worked in the public, private and healthcare hospitality industries. He chose his career because he loves meeting and engaging with people who have diverse backgrounds and unique stories to tell.
As assistant food and beverage director, Matt will assist in the daily operations of dining services throughout the community. He says he is most excited about connecting with and providing exceptional experiences for residents, families and associates of the Edgehill community.
The part of his job he likes best is meeting with residents, having conversations and hearing fascinating stories about their life experiences.
When he is not at work, Matt enjoys an active life with his wife, two daughters and two dogs in Shelton, CT. He is an avid soccer dad who loves a good cup of coffee and spending time on the golf course.
