Edgehill Enhances Leadership Team with New Director of Sales and Marketing
Edgehill, a continuing care retirement community in Stamford, Connecticut, is pleased to welcome Susan Pica as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. Susan joins Edgehill with extensive experience in the senior living industry.
Leadership Role and Responsibilities
In her role, Susan is responsible for leading and managing the sales team. From the initial conversation through move-in day, she oversees the entire sales process while ensuring Edgehill’s values and mission are consistently demonstrated to prospective residents and their families.
“I am passionate about providing our prospective residents and their families with an exceptional tour experience, where they not only see our beautiful community but truly feel it,” said Susan. “My favorite part of the job is knowing that I am helping people make one of the most important decisions of their lives and continuing those relationships long after they move in. Our residents have led incredible lives, and still do, and I am inspired by their stories and wisdom.”
Industry Experience and Background
Susan brings more than 20 years of hospitality sales experience, with nearly a decade spent in the senior living industry. Her background spans Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. She is originally from Westchester County and has lived in Fairfield County for the past 15 years.
“I joined the senior living industry because it is not just about sales, it is about guiding families through a major life transition,” Susan said. “It is an absolute privilege to be part of that journey. Having spent many years in leadership roles in corporate hospitality, I have always been motivated by purpose and making a measurable impact and the transition to senior living sales was both natural and fulfilling.”

Education and Certifications
Susan holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Quinnipiac University. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and is National Institute for Dementia Education certified.
