We are proud to announce several exciting updates to the Edgehill leadership team. Our continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Stamford, Connecticut, operated by Benchmark Senior Living, has recently promoted and welcomed new team members into key roles that support our residents’ exceptional quality of life. We are thrilled to introduce Maureen Jennings as Resident Services Director, Sandi Kornblum as Programming Director, Dennys Matias as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and Sylvie Gabriel as Housekeeping Manager.

“Each one of these roles supports the quality of life our residents enjoy,” said Campus Executive Director Chris Cilano. “I am proud to work alongside such dedicated and compassionate team members and I am confident that they will excel in their new roles.”

Supporting Resident Transitions: Maureen Jennings

As Resident Services Director, Maureen Jennings helps new residents feel at home from the very start. She works closely with our resident-led Welcoming Committee to make sure each newcomer is comfortable, supported and well-oriented in their new community. Maureen joined our community in 2024 as Programming Director, quickly forming strong connections with both residents and colleagues, earning recognition from the Edgehill leadership team.

Engaging Events and Enrichment: Sandi Kornblum

We are excited to welcome Sandi Kornblum to Edgehill as our new Programming Director. In this role, she designs and manages a full calendar of engaging activities and events that reflect the interests and passions of our residents. Sandi brings extensive experience in senior living, including her work with At Home in Darien, where she led events and the volunteer program. Her background also includes communications and events management at Community Health Center and the Child Guidance Center of Southern CT.

Excellence in Dining: Dennys Matias

Dennys Matias has been promoted to Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. In this new role, he ensures that every dining experience at Edgehill meets our high standards for service and personalization. Dennys oversees operations such as staff scheduling, resident reservations, event coordination and dietary accommodations. He previously served as Edgehill’s Housekeeping Manager and brings a strong understanding of our community culture.

Commitment to Cleanliness and Comfort: Sylvie Gabriel

We are pleased to welcome Sylvie Gabriel to the team as our new Housekeeping Manager, stepping into the role previously held by Dennys. Sylvie leads the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that resident spaces are maintained with the utmost care. She is responsible for upholding cleanliness standards, managing schedules and promptly addressing resident needs and concerns.
